OVERVIEW
The Novara CP-3017-TR-US ControlPad with built-in Ethernet port combines a controller with an easy to use 17-button keypad, navigation pad, transport control layout and rotary volume control that mounts into a standard 4 gang US back box. Setting up the Novara 3000 Series ControlPads is simple using Novara Device Configuration Software (DCS) and requires no programming. The Novara ControlPads built-in IR, RS-232, relay and I/O ports can be configured to control volume, input selection and power for a wide range of A/V devices including projectors, DVD players and switchers. Easily connect to AMX's Resource Management Suite® which enables web-based remote diagnostics and management through the built-in Ethernet Port. The Novara 3000 Series ControlPads are available in Black, White and Aluminum finishes.
COMMON APPLICATION
Use as a standalone user interface/controller for simple conference rooms/classrooms or combine with an Enova AVX-400 for more complex rooms with switching as well as amplification requirements.

Novara ControlPads are ideal for training rooms and classrooms. This example illustrates using the 8 button model in a simple stand-alone application. The system includes PC, document camera and DVD player with all the audio and video output plugged directly into the projector. The distribution amplifier allows the presenter to view the content from the PC in a preview monitor. The Novara ControlPad controls the projector and document camera using serial, the DVD player via IR and the screen via relay. The system can be managed and monitored via RMS directly through the on-board Ethernet port.
