OVERVIEW
Inspired XPress is tailored for organizations that desire to manage all aspects of their digital signage including content creation. Inspired XPress features a simple, intuitive software interface that allows staff to quickly create templates and content, and then publish content to SPX-1000 players which are small enough to mount behind any display. Content design is fluid, similar to a web page.

COMMON APPLICATIONS
Ideal for digital signage applications where the player must be mounted behind the display or in a confined space like a kiosk or video wall, Inspired XPress has the power to deliver dynamic information to customers of retailers, hotels, banks, event venues and other public spaces in multiple languages.

  • Serial Control - Use the serial port on the SPX-1000 to control the signage display
  • Multiscreen - Create a multiscreen signage wall by time synchronizing multiple SPX-1000s and creating a project that spans multiple displays (requires one signage player per display)

  • Flexible Data Integration - Inspired XPress supports RSS Feeds for News, Weather, Sports or any other data that can be obtained via a RSS Feed for up-to-the minute information
  • Supports Wide Variety of Graphic Types - The design aspect of the software tool allows use of content already developed such as JPEG, PNG, GIF, and SVG for still image format and MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, WMV 9 for SD motion video as well as importation of PowerPoint presentations
  • View Content Being Played - From the SPX-1000 embedded web server an administrator can take a snapshot showing exactly what is playing on the connected display for status or reporting purposes
  • HDMI and VGA Outputs - The SPX-1000 features 2 video output connections, one digital and one analog. Both outputs can be active at the same time, allowing the unit to feed two displays the same content simultaneously

  • Message Scheduling - Software includes a simple drag-and-drop solution for creating schedules for playlists with upcoming views for a day, week, month or year
  • Messaging - Allows an administrator to send a message to a single display or group of displays immediately such as in emergency situations
  • Green - The player uses only 2 watts of power
  • Supports Live Video - Live video streams can be played allowing for a live video multicasts of content from a network video source such as AMX's Vision² in Standard Definition
  • Standards Based Architecture - Technology such as Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) and XML produce graphics that are smaller, transmit more quickly, and are scalable without resolution loss

PLEASE NOTE:
Due to potential issues with license validation, Inspired Signage XPress software should NOT be installed on a virtual machine.

In this example, the Inspired XPress software runs on a PC, and manages how the content is sent to the players over the Ethernet. One software license can manage multiple players. A weather forecast playlist is being sent to the first player, and that player is connected to the display using an HDMI connection. The second player is running an AMX product playlist and is connected to the display using a VGA connection.
