AMX offers Media Management Solutions that simplify the capture, storage and distribution of video content by providing integrated solutions that support live video, pre-recorded video or TV signals. Using intuitive interfaces, administrators can control incoming video or TV signals and determine where to project them, either to a display, projector or PC. Solutions in this category also allow for on-demand video access so organizations can store all their video for later playback. They support unicast and multicast, as well as most industry standard video file formats plus audio. And our solutions can build on an existing video infrastructure to simplify the installation and reduce costs in deploying a video content management system.

Vision² Entry-Level Packages
The Vision² Entry-Level packages provide an easy way to get started with a Vision² system. Each package provides you with a Vision² Master Server, the ability to encode two video sources, and a Producer channel for creating a scheduled channel. These systems can easily be expanded by adding additional service licenses or appliances.
The Vision² Master Servers are at the core of any Vision² system. They can be purchased stand-alone or as part of an entry-level package. There are several different types of Master Servers in order to address a variety of needs:
The V2-MASTER-0010 is the primary Master Server and is meant to be used to control a Vision² system while giving you the option to add additional services.
The Video on Demand (VoD) Server can be licensed to serve up to 300 Mb/s of VoD content. Alternatively, it can act as a Master Server and provide a combination of Live, Producer, Record, and VoD services. With the VoD Server you can grow your storage by attaching an expansion storage device.
The Vision² Expansion Storage connects directly to the Video on Demand Server to allow users to grow the storage capacity of their system. The Expansion Storage is shipped in a RAID configuration in order to provide resiliency in the event of a disk failure.
The Vision² Live Sources stream live video content to the network. This video can originate from a source such as a camera or from an IP video stream. The V2-MPEG2-LIVE and MPEG Reflector appliances are capable of operating stand-alone, while the other sources depend on a Master Server.
The Vision² Services can be added to a Master Server to provide additional functionality to your Network Media system. Examples of these services include management of MPEG encoders, recording of streaming video, producing a streaming channel, and Video on Demand.
