Note: This version of firmware is functionally the same as version 2.00. It has been recompiled for new hardware, and changed to version 3.00

NOTES: In order to download this or any other battery base firmware, the following panel firmware versions !!MUST!! be present:

• CV7/10 firmware higher than v2.82.41

If the panel firmware does not adhere to the above requirements the battery base will be rendered inoperable by the download and will need to be shipped back to AMX for reprogramming

• Implementation of multi-stated LED. The function of LED is defined to follow the backlight. While battery charging is in progress the LED keeps blinking. If Sleep Blink is enabled the LED keeps blinking even when lcd backlight is off. Otherwise it will be turned off

The NXA-AVB/RGB Ethernet/RGB Breakout Box (FG2254-11) allows any of AMX's VG-Series Modero Touch Panels to accept and display both RGB or HDTV Component signals directly from an external source.

New Features: Enhanced speed on mouse and keyboard pass through (this feature requires Modero VG Series RGB Interface Card firmware v1.16 or higher)

Note: When working with firmware, it is important to note that version 1.xx of firmware should only be loaded onto boxes using 1.xx series firmware. The version 2.xx firmware should only be loaded onto boxes running 2.xx series firmware. To confirm the current firmware version, you can either navigate to the BOB Version field on the RGB Adjustment page or launch NetLinx Studio and open the Online Tree tab. NXA-RGB is a plug-in RGB interface card for Modero VG series touch panels. Field upgradable, the card integrates with RJ-45 RGB connector found on all VG series panels.

Until recently, most monitor makers did not worry about compliance with VESA standards. In the last couple of years they have started to implement the VESA standards and the NXP-TPI/4 needs an update to match those standards.

Installing the VESA compliant firmware without a chip change or hardware modification results in a TPI/4 that will not work properly. To prevent these problems, starting with firmware version 2.63.4 we will not post the latest version of firmware on the website (until further notice). In order to do a field update of the NXP-TPI/4 you will need to contact Technical Support to obtain the firmware KIT file.

If your unit has firmware of 2.60.75 or higher, it has the necessary modifications, and can accept the new firmware with no issues. If it has a lower version of firmware, the assumption is the modifications must be done, and the unit will need to be sent in for our repair department to make the changes. This will be done under standard AMX warranty policy.

2. Select the Axlink.tsk file and then the device number. Send the file. The thermostat will reboot and show the new revision in the online tree.
3. Repeating steps 1 and 2, transfer the Loader.tsk file to the thermostat. The thermostat will not reboot.
4. Again repeating steps 1 and 2, transfer the Env_vst_c_app.tsk file to the thermostat. The thermostat will reboot.
